Yoga is a symbolic word. If it is deeply related to the practical life in the general people life and conscience,
even stage of human life would be the symbol of yoga. The role of yoga is very importance is every sphere
of life and for this purpose the  Indian Yoga Federation  has been arranging this  competitive yoga  sports.
Though is ultimate goal  is not to assess  the standard of competitors  through postures of same assanas.
It’s ultimate goal is to amalgate with  life. We know  hale of  healthy body  ensure the success of life.  This
requires   only  the   follow  the  instructions   some  rules  of  humanlife  after  very  birth.  That’s  why our
predecessors  chose  some  assans of hatho-yoga and  included them in the filed of yoga-competition. The
effort of the Indian Yoga Federation successfully to fulfill that purpose in long time every corner of India.

   To promote, encourage, popularize, standardize and supervise of yoga sports in the all country

   To encourage the formation of all States, Districts and block level in the country

   To arrange & promote the Yoga meet / competition, camp, seminars and contests.

   To arrange regularly Block Level, Districts Level, State Level, Zonal Level and National Level Yoga meet.

   To arrange necessary financial help for contestant in Asian and World Yoga championship.

   To Perform all such other acts as may seem of the federation to be relevant Aims & Objectives of the
       federation.

  Indian Yoga Federation was constituted in the year of 1980.

Indian Yoga Federation is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXVI 1961 Govt of West Bengal.
